Colored stone tile is a kind of innovative roofing material combining metal substrate and natural stone particles. The substrate is made of aluminum-plated zinc steel plate (coating composition 55% aluminum,43.4% zinc, 1.6% silicon), the surface is bonded with natural colored sand (basalt/quartz sand) by special process, and the high temperature sintering (200-300℃) forms a lightweight composite plate imitating traditional tiles.
Core production step
1.Substrate Pretreatment
● Aluminized zinc steel plate
Substrate thickness 0.4-0.6mm (common AZ150 coating, double-sided coating 150g/㎡), with excellent corrosion resistance (salt spray test ≥1000 hours without red rust)
● Cleaning passivation
After alkaline degreasing (residual oil ≤30mg/m²), chromium treatment generates conversion film (film thickness 0.5-1.2μm)
2.Stone Coating
● Binder
epoxy resin or acrylic adhesive, coating amount 200-300g/㎡
● Colored sand particles
natural basalt or stained quartz sand with particle size 0.3-1.2mm, color stability up to ΔE≤3.0 (QUV 3000 hours)
3.Curing
● In the continuous baking oven, heating at 200-250℃ for 10-15 minutes, so that the binder is completely cured, forming a dense protective layer
4.Surface Protection
● Optional transparent fluorocarbon topcoat for enhanced stain resistance and UV protection
Product advantage
Various forms:Product modeling covers imitation Spanish cylinder tile, English flat tile, Japanese and tile, etc., overlapping joint hidden waterproof
Wind and seismic resistance:Wind resistance grade ≥12, can resist typhoons
Easy to install:Single weight 1.5-4.5kg/㎡, no need to strengthen the structure, single day installation speed is ordinary ceramic tile, cement tile 2-3 times
Application scenario
High-end residence:Villa roof (antique appearance + lightweight, reduce structural load)
Commercial building:Resort hotel (typhoon resistant design, for coastal areas)
Restoration of ancient buildings:temples, historic districts (compatible with traditional styles, life far beyond pottery)
Green building:LEED certification program (recovery rate > 90%, reduced resource consumption)
